The Sea Management Associate Program (MAP) is Sea’s flagship program for aspiring graduates who seek to make a difference with technology and become future leaders of the industry. Under the Sea MAP, you will get to choose a track where you want to become a leader: Finance, Garena, or Shopee & SeaMoney.
Each track, over the 2-year program, consists of four 6-month rotations – for you to gain in-depth and diverse exposure across the departments. You will drive critical projects, work with diverse regional teams, and receive direct guidance from senior leaders.
Read below to find out more about the individual tracks for Finance, Garena, or Shopee & SeaMoney.

Will Management Associates be able to choose which department they want to join during the two-year program?
Your preference will be taken into account, but the final decision lies with the senior management, who will take into consideration the business needs, your skills, as well as your cultural fit with the team.
When can I expect to receive an offer?
If shortlisted, you can expect to receive an offer in December.
The MA journey has been an exciting and challenging one for me. When I first joined Garena, I was given the opportunity to develop a project from scratch and see it materialise and be executed in different regions. The MA Program pushes me to step out of my comfort zone and tackle problems that I am not familiar with. Of course, this would not have been possible without the guidance, help and support given to me by my manager and my team. The open and friendly culture in Garena promotes learning and sharing of knowledge, and I can always reach out to anyone for anything!

Being a Finance MA in a leading technology company has been an enriching journey so far. The rotations in the program will provide great exposure to the overall finance function, making it an invaluable starting point for fresh graduates in their career. It is a challenging voyage here at Sea, but the people you meet will brave the storms together with you.

My Management Associate (MA) journey has allowed me to work with various functions and helped me gain a high-level understanding of the organisation and how different departments can work cohesively. It also provided me with the opportunity to build strong relationships with talents from diverse backgrounds.
As a fresh graduate back then, the experiences and skills that I have gained helped to shape me in the very early stages of my career, and will continue to guide me as I continue to grow as a professional.

During my first rotation as a Product Manager with the SeaMoney team, I was exposed to the different financial services and how they will be integrated with Shopee’s e-commerce platform to form an exciting ecosystem. It has been really exciting to see how our work comes to life and how it can impact the lives of those across the region.
The Sea MAP has no doubt been challenging but rewarding at the same time, and I am grateful for the countless opportunities for personal and professional growth provided throughout.
